Rob Trice, Senior Managing Director
Rob Trice brings a variety of domestic and international investing and business experience to SK telecom ventures. Prior to joining SK telecom ventures, he was a co-founding Partner of Nokia Growth Partners, the global growth-stage venture capital arm of Nokia with US$350m under management for direct and fund-to-fund investing. From late 2000 until the end of 2004, he worked at Nokia Venture Partners (now BlueRun Ventures) on early-stage venture investments in the US and overseas. Previously, he worked at DIRECTV in Los Angeles and Tokyo in a variety of operational and business planning roles. Rob also worked as an international policy analyst at a Washington, D.C. based think tank, the Center for Strategic & International Studies. He holds a Master of Arts from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. Rob is based in Palo Alto, California.

Patrick Chung, Managing Director
A native of Silicon Valley, Patrick started his career as a corporate attorney in 1997 at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. At WSGR, Patrick counseled companies (including many start-ups) regarding general corporate matters, strategic planning, financings, M&A, intellectual property and licensing matters. Between two stints at WSGR (1997-2000 and 2005-2008), Patrick worked in Seoul, Korea at Kim & Chang, Korea's pre-eminent law firm, where he advised Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Kim & Chang, Patrick was Director of Business Development at Dialpad Communications (acquired by Yahoo), where he negotiated and closed both of Dialpad's Series A and Series B Preferred Stock financings, which raised $66 million. While at Dialpad, he was responsible for technology licensing and distribution of Dialpadē“ products with telecommunications companies, PC OEMs and websites. Patrick holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Patrick is based in Palo Alto, California.

Sean Ryu, Principal
Sean joins SK telecom ventures with over 10 years of R&D and business development experience at SK telecom. He primarily focuses on mobile/wireless, communication and service. Before joining SK telecom ventures, Sean served as Sr. Director of Technology Partnerships at SK telecom Americas, where he was responsible for pursuing investment opportunities and partnerships with promising U.S. technologies on behalf of SK telecom as well as its many global technology ventures. Prior to SK telecom Americas, he led research projects at SK telecomē“ R&D Center and participated in the acquisition of the WiMAX service license in Korea. Sean holds BS, MS and Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering from Yonsei University, Korea. Sean is based in Palo Alto, California.

Vikram Lakhwara, Analyst
Vikram Lakhwara tracks incoming deal flow, performs market analysis and industry due diligence on both incoming business plans and targeted companies, assists on investment execution, and works on business development projects for existing portfolio companies. Before joining SKTVC in 2008, Vik was a marketing analyst for Silicon Valley law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Prior to WSGR, Vik spent four years as an associate at a globally recognized boutique strategic consulting firm, where he worked with mid- and senior-level management of high technology startups, Fortune 500, and Global 100 companies. Vik has a BA in economics from Vassar College. Vik is based in Palo Alto, California.

Scott Yoo, Analyst
Scott Yoo assists with all aspects of deal execution from conducting market research and identifying new investment opportunities in novel internet and mobile technologies to due diligence. Scott started his career as a corporate paralegal at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati where he specialized in venture financings and mergers and acquisitions. While in law school, Scott worked at SK telecom ventures and Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo. Scott holds a Juris Doctor from Washington College of Law at American University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley. Scott is based in Palo Alto, California.

David Lee, Venture Partner
David Lee was hired in 2000 as an early employee at Google and was the first Executive to lead Google overseas. He launched Google's offices in Korea, Japan, Greater China, Australia, UK, Germany and Latin America, where he also led business development, sales, and operations. David hired the first management teams in each country and established Google's initial international presence and revenue base. As Senior Director he also lead many major international search advertising partnership deals with eBay, Daum, Yahoo, and others, including Google’s investment into Baidu in China. David is also a Co-Founding Partner of XG Ventures, a Google alumni angel fund. His fund has had 5 acquisitions in the last year to Facebook, Google, AT&T, and Disney. Some of his past and current investments include Tapulous, Posterous, Twitter, Facebook, Kabam, and Greplin. David is an LP in Y-Combinator, and SV Angels Fund. He’s also a Board Observer of English Central, and sits on several other advisory boards in US, Korea, and China. His accomplishments have been featured in Forbes, Business Week and various other publications. David is based in Palo Alto, California.
